Here's some areas you may be interested in:
Many parents contact me asking if I can recommend a good beginner guitar. Many times budget is an issue when you're not sure your if your child is going to stick with a new instrument.
Below are a couple guitars from MusiciansFriend.com
I recommend musiciansfriend.com because you can view reviews before
you buy, and they even post the bad reviews. You can sort items by
price and they also have a great return policy and most items ship for
FREE.
ACOUSTIC GUITARS (UNDER $100):
(Many guitars at this price point come with cheap strings but if they need to be replaced, I can replace them for $8.00)
Both of these are under $100, the second one is slightly smaller than a full size guitar. I’d recommend any of these. The color is just a matter of preference.
ACOUSTIC GUITARS ($100-200)
A little nicer quality on these guitars, Fender, Ibanez, and Jasmine by Takamine are some of the better known name brands.
ELECTRIC GUITAR (UNDER $100)
I just bought one of these and raffled it off at a concert here in Lompoc. When I received it, I did some tune-up work and changed the strings. For the price, these things are pretty sweet. Suitable for most beginners.( I really didn't want to part with mine!)
ELECTRIC GUITAR PACK (UNDER $200)
Includes an amp, tuner, guitar strap, picks, everything you need to get started.
If you don't see what what you're looking for, feel free to submit a question before you buy, I can usually get you an answer the same day!
I'm here to help!
