CSM Rates & Payment Schedule
Standard Rates
Lil’ Sparks: $25 per session
Junior Sparks: $150 per month (3-month program commitment)
Adult Group Classes: $300 for 12 × 30-minute classes
One-to-One Private Lessons: $150 for 4 × 30-minute lessons
For private lessons, four consecutive lessons are considered one lesson cycle. Lessons are typically held once per week for 30 minutes. More frequent lessons may be arranged by request and teacher approval.
Private-Pay Discounted Rates
Certain Sparks Music offers discounted rates to families paying tuition directly to CSM with private funds.
Lil’ Sparks Private-Pay Discount: $90 for 6 sessions
Junior Sparks Private-Pay Discount: $300 for the full 12-week program
One-to-One Private Lessons Private-Pay Discount: $135 for 4 × 30-minute lessons
Private-pay students may also prepay for three private lesson cycles at the discounted rate of $375 for 12 × 30-minute lessons.
These rates are specifically discounted rates offered to private-pay customers and do not change CSM’s standard published rates.
Additional Private-Pay Discounts
We’re happy to offer a 10% sibling discount. When one student pays full private-pay tuition, each additional sibling is eligible for a 10% discount.
When siblings take lessons at the same time with the same teacher, additional siblings may receive 25% off their private-pay tuition for that class.
Effective 7/1/24, we do not offer additional tuition discounts beyond those listed above.
Payment Structure
Tuition for private lessons covers four consecutive lessons, referred to as one “lesson cycle.” A lesson cycle is based on a count of four consecutive lessons and is not based on the calendar month.
Payment Schedule
Payment for each lesson cycle is due at the first of the four lessons. A late payment fee of $35 will be applied to tuition that is more than 14 days overdue.
Tracking
Lost track of your lesson count? Ask us for a copy of our records. We have a system for tracking each student’s lesson cycle.

Autopay
We offer an easy autopay option. Autopay charges your card on the 1st of every month. Please contact Certain Sparks Music to enroll. Autopay is highly encouraged!
Charter & Agency-Funded Students
For students whose tuition is paid using charter school, state, or agency funds including Heartland Charter and Tri-Counties Regional Center, CSM bills the applicable standard published rate:
